UKRAINE The vacancy rate on the Ukraine warehouse market has reached 21 pct y-o-y, with the available leasing stock amounting to 150,000 sqm. Originally, there had been plans for around 150,000 sqm of new warehousing space to come online this year, but developers have scaled down their plans leaving only a potential total 70,000 sqm. According to Colliers International, in Q2 2009 the average rent per sqm of warehouse space came to USD 6.5-7.5. Market analysts expect that a total of 150-160,000 sqm of space will be leased throughout 2009.
